Have you ever had one of those days or nights when nothing seemed to go your way? I had one of those tonight! As I sit here and reflect on it all I can do is laugh...
It all started when I left work just as it was getting ready to downpour. Lucky for me it decided to begin about 1/2 way to my car. On the way home a truck decided to cross the highway right in front of me as I am cruising along at 55 mph, now mind you I drive a large SUV so you would think that other drivers should see me coming but for some reason I seem to be invisible. I get home and it is now raining so hard that you can barely see out the windshield. I decide that instead of walking to the mailbox I would pull up next to it and grab the mail without getting out of the car. What happens?! Yep, 1/2 the mail slips out of my hands and lands on the ground. I now have to get out to retrieve the drowned mail from the ditch and in the course of it I get drenched as well. I waited out the downpour in my car and when it lightened up I tried to make a run for it, dropping my takeout bag in the river that was once my driveway. Just as I think the storm has passed I begin to cleanup my kitchen from the hurricane that must have swept through and left a mess behind for me (otherwise known as 2 children and a spouse), which included soaking a casserole dish. I thought I would kill 2 birds with one stone and start to run water in the dish while also wiping down the counters. I turn my back for a split second and realize that there is water pouring all over my countertop and floor. I grab a small towel but it can't absorb enough of the water so now it is pouring down the counter all over my shirt and pants that had begun to dry from the outside adventure. Mind you I also failed to shut the water off right away. 2 beach towels later I finally gave cleaned up most of the water. Now that my kitchen is clean and I am almost dry I think that I need some bubble wrap to wrap around myself tonight and probably should steer clear of using any sharp utensils or large electrical appliances.

Blogging for Beginners
Starting a blog has been overwhelming, even for someone that would consider themselves somewhat tech savvy (which would be me). There are so many websites to consider setting it up through and template overload. I think I found the one that works best for me. Fingers crossed!
Many of my friends and family have asked me to share my crafting knowledge with them and I thought this blog would be a great way to not only reach them but also others out there that may find the information useful. I hope that my blogs are helpful. If I am able to help one person that I don't know I will consider it a success.
Happy blogging!!
